Newborn Care Trio

I had no idea what to expect from these. When I placed my order, I had a vague idea of how I could use these with my cat (dry after a bath, as a liner in her bed, etc). I focused a bit more on the blanket part and not the muslin. That is not the fault of the product. These aren't thick like a traditional blanket, but they are pretty darn amazing. The fabric is soft and breathable. They work perfectly as a liner for a cat carrier. The quality is obvious in the thickness (for muslin) and feel of the blanket. This is obviously top quality cotton just by feel. And I'm just going to be honest, since these are made for babies, I am more confident the materials are safe for my cat. Cats groom themselves fastidiously, so anything my cat lays on can transfer chemicals or toxins to their coats, which they then lick off. It's terrifying to think about. But not with these. I am so glad I ordered these muslin blankets. They can be used to dry my cat off after a bath (she has some bladder issues and needs help with her back end). If I needed to swaddle her to clip her claws or medicate her, these would work, too. Or as a breathable liner in a carrier. Or even to hide in her carrier, if she's so inclined. I don't judge. These muslin blankets can be used for so many things and are clearly very high quality.

I picked these up for my Sphynx cat, and they turned out to be a perfect fit for him. Hairless cats need something soft and gentle against their skin, and baby blankets are honestly ideal for that, so when I saw this two-pack I figured it was worth a try.The muslin fabric is noticeably soft right out of the package, which matters a lot when your pet has no fur buffer between them and the blanket. It's lightweight enough that he doesn't overheat while still giving him that cozy warmth he's always hunting for. The double-layer construction adds just enough substance without making it feel heavy or stiff.The 40" x 36" size is genuinely ideal for a cat. Big enough to drape over his favorite spots or tuck around him, but not so oversized that it becomes unwieldy. The peach and cream colorway is also really pretty — neutral and soft, which I appreciate. Getting two in the pack is a nice bonus since one can be in the wash while the other is in use.Overall, these are just really well-made, gentle blankets and I'd recommend them to anyone with a hairless or sensitive-skinned pet who needs something soft and size-appropriate. Totally love them for this use.

I'm using these Mère & Moi Muslin Baby Blankets with my newborn and they are just what I hoped for. The cotton is soft and breathable and made from just two thin layers, so they are lightweight for summer, and also feel safer to use in general since baby can breath through them if one gets pulled up too high. They are a great versatile size for swaddling, using in the carseat for warmth on the road, or general cuddling. I also love the beautiful texture of the muslin, and appreciate the quality stitching and material of these blankets. Of all our baby blankets, these have quickly become the ones I grab first. I ordered them in the Sand and Cream colors, which are a linen/light khaki color (pictured) and warm cream. Both are beautiful neutrals. I'd highly recommend these!

These muslin swaddles are fantastic, the size and quality really stand out for the price point. They feel soft and well made, and it’s a big plus that they are made with organic materials instead of synthetic ones. The neutral colors make them perfect for either boys or girls.They are generously sized, which makes them super versatile. They work well as a swaddle, but can also be used as a nursing cover, stroller blanket, or even something to lay on. Overall, they feel like a great value and a very practical baby essential.

Like my title says, these are slightly larger burp cloths that are very soft and absorbent. I'd say that they're not pure or stark white, but more of an ivory white; I've attached a picture of one of these against the very bright white of our dryer for comparison. I don't particularly care either way, but I did want to at least mention it in case that does matter to someone out there.Besides being a bit larger, which is great for covering more of your shoulder while burping the baby, I really love that these can go through both the washing machine and dryer. The less special care items you have to deal with while also taking care of a newborn, the better. We've followed the directions to wash on gentle and tumble dry low, which seems to be working fine as we've not had any issues with shrinking or warping. They're still just as soft after coming out of the dryer, although maybe a tad wrinkly, not that that matters much when you just need it as a shield.At about $2 per cloth, we're quite happy with this set. The presentation isn't as cute as the current photo that shows a stack of cloths tied in a ribbon, but if you're planning on gifting this set, you could always tie them up cutely if you'd prefer over how they arrive. They do arrive smelling slightly musty so a wash before gifting wouldn't be a bad idea either.
